you know, the more time goes on, the more i'm really starting to think that i should give tiktok a look. like...... for short videos, it feels like that's just where the people are. but at the same time, i really do prefer horizontal videos, from a visual perspective.

so i'm thinking....... maybe i should keep making horizontal videos, but then i'll make a second vertical edit too. i can post the horizontal video to youtube as normal, but then i'll post the vertical version to tiktok. i'd do youtube shorts, but i do NOT wanna uploading duplicates to youtube, and i absolutely want the horizontal versions to be presented somewhere accessible

so........ yeah. just thinking about this again, because it feels a bit like i'm running into an algorithmic meat grinder again and again and again. but maybe that's just the way this goes. 99.999% of people probably never get a meaningfully large audience, so why should i expect to be any different? 


i dunno. but i've gotta try a little harder

fuck it, i'm gonna try re-editing some videos to see if i can get them looking nice in a vertical format

well, i re-edited and uploaded the sensory deprivation/stimulation video to tiktok. i've officially sold my soul to the algorithmic devil! (oh the horror)

now i guess i just........... see what happens? i really have no idea what to expect here
